What you’ll be doing:

As a Quality Team Member, you will ensure the quality of our apples meets the highest standards throughout the packing process. Your duties include inspecting and grading apples, and ensuring quality control guidelines are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and grade fruit to ensure they meet quality standards

• Inspect rejected fruit as needed  

• Conduct regular audits and assessments of packing operations

• Test fruit pressures and brix as per variety/customer requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and inspections

• Follow the Mr Apple Health & Safety policies

What you’ll bring:

• You have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality and excellence

• You are a people person with strong communication skills  

• Ideally, you have experience working in a packhouse – however, this is not essential.  

• Have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass pre-employment screening and checks.
