What you’ll be doing
As a People Advisor, you’ll collaborate with a team of specialists, serving as the main point of contact for initial people-related inquiries. This dynamic role involves working in an agile team setting, providing comprehensive HR advisory support to our P&C team, RSE team, and People Managers.
Based in our Whakatu office, your role will include:
- Service Delivery, including support with the annual salary review process, performance reviews, and engagement surveys, including running reports and action planning.
- Employee Relations, including managing low-risk employee relations cases end-to-end with support from Senior P&C team members.
- Managing employment-related documentation and data.
- Policies & Procedures, including the upkeep of P&C policies with employment laws.
- Supporting Health & Safety queries via various channels and assigning or actioning them accordingly.
- Supporting the RSE operations team with general administration requirements, such as processing and coordinating RSE employment, travel, and insurance documentation.
You will bring:
- Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within a medium to large-sized organisation.
- Confidence in managing the end-to-end HR process for a high-volume work environment.
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and manage effective relationships at all levels and locations.
- Strong communication skills to influence, advise, and negotiate.
- Previous experience in employee relations, including disciplinaries.
