Orchard Foreman

We are looking for two new Foreman at Mr Apple. Our Sorrento Orchard is wanting to find a more experienced Foreman, someone who confidently knows the ins and outs of an apple orchard, is passionate about passing on skills and knowledge to the team, and will be a strong addition to their leadership team.

Our Blyth Orchard is wanting to find a Foreman with solid orcharding skills, some supervisory experience and someone who wants to develop themselves and others with the support of the orchard leadership.

What you’ll be doing:

As an Orchard Foremen you will be responsible for all aspects of growing premium apples, while also effectively managing and motivating your team. You will maximise the efficiency of day-to-day orchard operations under the direction of orchard management.

You will work alongside a team of experts who know how to succeed, they are stronger together. They will support you to expand your skills and grow your career. At Mr Apple you will be part of a business leading innovation in the horticulture sector, and you will have many opportunities to grow your expertise further.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in large-scale horticulture and orchard operations
• Supervisory experience
• Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
• A Growsafe certification
• A current full driver licence
• The right to work in New Zealand and will be able to pass pre-employment checks
