Loadout Team Member

Are you looking for a seasonal role that isn’t sitting at a desk or standing in one place all day? If you have a high attention to detail and are process orientated, then this could be the role for you.

As a Loadout team member, no two days are the same. You’ll be base at our coolstore and be responsible for ensuring the right pallets of apples are loaded into containers, and ready to be sent to the port.

What you’ll be doing:

‍

Your day will be spent between your computer and inside the coolstore (you’ll need to be comfortable in the cold), completing all container loadouts and trucking orders. Working with several systems, you will need to be able to quickly understand data to finalise the load out details. You will be required to complete a range of tasks to ensure pallets are ready for loading, such as register checks, labelling; checking empty containers upon arrival on site and then making sure the right pallets get into the right container. There is a specific process to guide you, which needs to be learned and followed accurately each time.

Part of a small and close-knit team, together you will self-manage to ensure that thousands of cartons of apples arrive at the export markets each year.

·       Practical, hands on, and enjoy being on your feet mostof the day

·       You are easy going and have good communication skills

·       Have the right to work in New Zealand and be able topass pre-employment screening and checks
