Are you someone who enjoys working with leaders across the whole business and enabling critical processes to run successfully? We’re looking for a Document & Compliance expert to join our team.
What you’ll be doing:
As the Document & Compliance Specialist, you will support our Compliance Managers to ensure all areas of the business is compliant and meets our reporting, market access, and customer requirements. You will bring knowledge of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), food safety and document management systems, as you will assist leaders from across the business with our document control process, audits, and completing due diligence requests.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the Document Management System. Controlled documents may include policies, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), forms, and training resources.
• Lead and coordinate the document review process by collaborating closely with key stakeholders.
• Review document drafts for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and formatting, making corrections as needed to ensure documents are effective for use.
• Send out documents for periodic review requests to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain an electronic system of drafts, edits, and approved/effective documents.
• Support the business with all relevant and required training programmes and systems.
What you’ll bring:
• Experience working with audits, policy development, and policy reviewing
• Horticulture knowledge would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), Food safety systems and standards, market access systems
• Proficient in SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, and Office software.
• Systematic and detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Able to work as part of a team in an open plan office
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
• Must have a full licence as local travel is required
• Have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass pre-employment checks
