Class 5 Truck Drivers – Day and Night shift available

What you’ll be doing

As a Truck Driver at Mr Apple, you will be driving our picked and packed apples between our sites within Hawke’s Bay. Starting in January or February, you’ll be responsible for delivering fruit bins or packed pallets and other products throughout the Mr Apple’s network of orchards, packhouses, bin stores and coolstores.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

• Carefully delivering all product within Mr Apple guidelines

• Ensuring logbooks are kept up-to-date and accurate

• Maintaining your truck and notifying the dispatcher of any issues

• Communicating effectively with your team and peers

What you’ll bring:

• Expereince as a truck driver, ideally having transported fruit or other fragile product

• You must have a Class 5 drivers licence

• Experience keeping accurate records

• The ability to maintain a high level of Health & Safety awareness

• The right to work in New Zealand and consent to pre-employment checks
