Andy McDougall joined Mr Apple NZ Ltd in 2006 and for the past 13 years has been their Wholesale Sales Manager.
Andy grew up on a family owned 1,000 acre Vegetable Farm south of Auckland in the Pukekohe region.
After attending boarding school in Auckland, Andy went on to complete a Bachelor Degree of Horticultural Science at Massey University in Palmerston North, majoring in marketing.
Andy has spent the past 35 years exporting New Zealand fruits & vegetables worldwide to over 40 different countries, with previous positions as General Manager of Kiwi Harvest Ltd in the 1980’s, General Manager International of Chiquita Brands NZ Ltd in the early 1990’s, going on to establish his own company Fresh Pacific Marketing Ltd for 8 years before doing a Joint Venture with Freshmax Group in the early 2000’s.
Andy’s always had a keen interest in sports especially Rugby, Water & Snow Skiing, Triathlons, Boating, and Gardening.
Andy is married with 2 teenage daughters.
I focus primarily on retail sales & distribution throughout the ROW Markets, as well as growing and maintaining relationships in North America and Europe.
I have been responsible for creating and building relationships in these markets successfully for Mr Apple for the past 3 years.
